Lac qui Parle County, Minnesota

Lac qui Parle County is located in western Minnesota. It is named for the French phrase for "the lake that speaks".
The seat and largest city are both Madison. The county is bordered by the Minnesota River.
Main highways through the county US-75, US-212, MN-40, MN-119 and MN-275.
The county borders Big Stone, Swift, Chippewa and Yellow Medicine Counties in Minnesota, as well as Deuel and Grant Counties in South Dakota.
